The SHIVA LINGAM belongs to the silicate group. It contains silicon in microcrystalline form. These are sacred stones from the Narmada River in India. Shiva Lingams are naturally shaped by the whirlpools inside giant potholes, giving them their distinctive, more or less ovoid shape. Shiva Lingams are collected during the annual drought and are then hand-polished. They are becoming increasingly rare.
