Pietersite beaded bracelet.

Pietersite is a fibrous quartz variety containing tiger's eye and hawk's eye. It comes from a sedimentary formation. Pietersite contains iron, which will give a different color depending on the degree of oxidization. Thus, Pietersite can show several juxtaposed colors in blue, blue-grey, and yellow-ochre. The magnificent shimmering effects are given by crocidolite fibers.
The discoverer of this recent stone in Namibia is Sidney Pieters.
