Sawn and polished specimen of a Large Ammonite Cleoniceras from the Upper Cretaceous (-90 Ma).

Ammonites and goniatites are cephalopod molluscs belonging to the Ammonoidea. Ammonites lived from the Devonian (-416 Ma) to the Cretaceous (-65 Ma), while goniatites appeared in the Devonian (-416 Ma) and disappeared at the end of the Permian (-251 Ma).
