The fossil teeth that are found are most often those of sharks, but also include those of mosasaurus, globidens, crocodiles, dinosaurs, mammoths and many other species!
Globidens belong to the same family as Mosasaurus, but they are of a different genus. Globidens were shorter (6m) and their teeth had a completely different appearance than Mosasaurus, forming a globe instead of a very sharp, saber-like shape.
Fossil teeth can also be used in jewelry and decoration.
